SURVIVE EBSA · OCTOBER 2026 COHORT · JOIN THE WAITING LIST
You’re supporting your child through EBSA. But who’s supporting you?
Survive EBSA is a 12-week live programme for parents of a child who can’t go to school. But it’s built around your steadiness, not just theirs.

Join the waiting list to be the first to hear and save £240
When your child can’t go to school, most of the support and attention naturally focuses on them. What do they need? What’s making school feel impossible? What might help them take the next step?
Meanwhile, you’re handling the difficult mornings, replying to messages, attending meetings, making decisions and trying to hold the rest of family life together!
You’re absorbing your child’s fear while carrying plenty of your own.
You’re holding space for them. But who’s holding space for you?
Survive EBSA gives you somewhere to put down what you’re carrying for an hour each week. Somewhere you don’t have to explain why this is so difficult. Somewhere you can finally feel supported, find your footing and work out what comes next.

SURVIVE EBSA IS FOR YOU IF...
You’re constantly trying to work out what your child needs from you.
You’re carrying guilt, worry or exhaustion, even when you know you’re doing everything you can.
You feel as though you’re holding the whole situation together, but nobody’s really asking how you’re coping.
You’re second-guessing every decision and wondering whether you’re doing too much, too little or the wrong thing entirely.
You need more than another article, checklist or piece of general parenting advice.
TIME EACH WEEK THAT'S JUST FOR YOU...
Survive EBSA isn’t another programme telling you how to ‘fix’ your child or giving you more things to add to your already extensive to-do list as a parent.
Across 12 weeks, you’ll move through four stages:
Anchor: finding your own ground when everything feels uncertain.
Bearings: understanding what’s within your control and what isn’t.
Recalibrate: handling school, meetings and everyone else involved with greater confidence.
Horizon: beginning to see what family life could look like beyond the immediate crisis.
You’ll join a live group session each week, alongside other parents who understand how consuming EBSA can be. (And if you can’t attend live, you’ll receive a recording.)
You’ll also get plenty of practical resources shaped by what’s helped the parents I’ve worked with over the last 6 years.
It’s designed to work alongside any support your child already has, not replace it.
LED BY DR. CAROLYNE
I’m Dr. Carolyne Keenan, a Registered Psychologist specialising in teen mental health, anxiety and emotionally based school avoidance AND parent wellbeing.
I’ve supported families through EBSA for years, both in the therapy room and beyond it. I’ve also spoken about young people’s mental health and the emotional wellbeing of parents on ITV, BBC Radio 5 Live and in The Times, among others.
I created Survive EBSA because I’ve seen how much parents are expected to carry while the support remains focused almost entirely on their child.
Because you matter in this too!
